We're seeking a highly motivated 3D Environment Artist with experience working with Unity Engine. You will be instrumental in crafting stunning and immersive environments to bring the world of Engines of Fury to life. Collaborate closely with the game design and programming teams to ensure visual elements seamlessly integrate with gameplay mechanics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build high-quality 3D environments in Unity, focusing on both aesthetics and performance optimization.
- Develop atmospheric lighting setups that enhance the mood and tone of the game.
- Work closely with the art director and other team members to maintain a consistent visual style.
- Introduce fresh ideas and creative solutions to overcome artistic and technical challenges.
- Explore new workflows and toolsets to assist in the construction of environment art throughout the game.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert knowledge of Unity engine, particularly in environment creation and asset integration.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Houdini).
- Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, and lighting techniques.
- Ability to take 2D concept art to completion.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- A desire to work with complex and high-detail models.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
